The finished product of your imaging process can only be as good as the phototool used to produce it. For this reason, it is imperative that all phototooling must adhere to the highest quality standards available, and often must reflect the implementation of new standards.

New product turn-around schedules of one week or less have become commonplace in the industry. Therefore, complete phototooling must be produced and delivered within two to three days or less, even for the most complicated jobs.

Product Information
The use of state-of-the-art laser imaging allows the International Phototool Company to supply either precision silver halide film, or extremely precise and durable glass masters, with the shortest turn-around time available nationally or worldwide.

Image resolutions range from:

  • Polyester film - 1/5, 1/8, 1/16, 1/25.4, 1/32, and 1/40.64 mil
  • Glass - 1, 1/2, 1/4 micron, direct write, with substrate sizes up to 24 x 28 inches (609.6 x 711.2 mm).
Our manufacturing experience includes building tooling for products such as:

    • smallest etched feature = (resist resolution)+[(etchfactor)*2]
      • with special compensations required for other areas,
    • multiple etch compensations,
    • double sided, single sided, combination and depth etching,
    • "thieving" lines to enhance etch uniformity,
  • join line outlines to make closed polylines/boundaries
